Comments (9)This picture shows nothing remotely what you all are talking about, but it's some of my haul today. We just got back from a Mennonite farmer and brought a fresh chicken (7 lb beauty), 7 lb of lard!, a huge cabbage, 10 lb of Yukon Gold potatoes, 5 lb of carrots. I was on a quest for pig fat ever since Cheryl posted about making lard. I called a local farmer and he could sell me the fat, or the lard itself, which the Mennonite ladies buy for their pastry. I hate buying bags of onions and they're small. Tons of garlic, too. I just bought what I had room for in the frig, the lard I'll be putting in margarine/sour cream containers for the freezer....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Fri Feb 14
Comments (8)Wow Casey. I'm trying to figure what items were used. A squishy gel-filled heart? Pink liquid on the mirror. Stunning, just stunning, as ALL of your photos are. I figured you'd do a Valentine's day photo, do you have anything from your birthday to share? Jim, have a Wonderful cruise! Wow, a long one to be sure. I'll miss your pics, but you'll have a boat-load, haha to show us when you come back. Bob, I love the little bobcat. Friends like that are worth their weight in gold......or a lunch or dinner. :)...See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Fri Feb 13
