That sounds fantastic! I only have three little Heucheras and guard them like they are made of gold! In the Spring and Fall they do well, though, so hoping to see them bound in this cool weather we sudden;t are getting. Make sure you take pictures of your "river's" progress, with before , during and after pics so we can see the transformation. I remember how excited I was when my first DL bloomed. I am sure you will have that same feeling over, and over again. Your Pardon Me looks great. And pardon me : ), but since you have just joined the DL world my 1st piece of advice, even though you didn't ask, is to give them plenty of room, mulch and plant them in the ground if at all possible. I have many in pots, 3 gal. size, and they do much better in the ground. Five gal. pots might make a big difference, but potted plants take a lot of watering and nutrients. Good luck, and have fun. That's great news. I am happy for you especially since your son is military. No matter how any of us feel about the war, we appreciate our military people. We spent many holidays alone. Because of the parents and step parents issue, I decided what ever day my children could be with us was "the" holiday. The Christmas my oldest granddaughter was four, they were stationed in Abeline. We lived in San Antonio and my son's father lived in Kingsvile and my DIL's mother lived in Robstown. The kids had their Christmas at home and then drove to SA. The next day we had our Christmas. The day after they drove to Robstown and had Christmans at my DIL's mother's house. They went to my ex's on Christmas morning and had Christmas. Soooooo,my granddaughter got up the day after Christmas expecting it all to happen again. She was a tad disappointed.

Red - I haven't gotten anywhere on the baskets scenario yet! In fact - I'm embarassed to admit it but I actually forgot about them. I should probably order my Tea Stain swatch this wk. I think that it will look really nice w/ all of the new colors. I'm also embarassed to admit that I am repainting the LR in BM Strathmore Manor tom. - already have my gallon and supplies! It's very close to the current BT but more on the brown side. I'm moving the green curtains to the kitchen (which I am painting black - crazy - I know - but you'll see eventually). I finished painting the office BM Jonesboro Cream yesterday and the center hall BM Porcelain Ivory and the ceiling SW Caviar (black) 2 wknds ago. Saturday when someone bought the green velvet RH pillow covers out from under me on E-bay, I went to RH and ended up getting a bunch of pillow covers in the Sand and Lava colorways. Looks really, really nice. I just wish I were able to afford some of the silk curtains in the cream/ sand line because they look so good w/ all of the colors. All of the colors together almost looks like a warm sepia toned picture. Pics to follow in a few days or so!
