Does anybody know what type of plant i have?
Comments (8)Most rubber trees are grown in low light/bright light, I believe. They dont need any direct sun to flourish. Like most house plants, morning sun is tolerated well. I have known house plants (rubber trees) to tolerate dark corners and drought. My sister has a brown thumb. But she has had a rubber tree and a lemon-lime dracaena for a long time. She keeps her shades drawn for at least half the daylight hours, and waters occasionally. Im sure it could survive living with vampires. I know you could keep it alive. Comments (6)Moonshine Design Nursery is one of my favorites for price and value. The selection is not a wide as I would like, but then I tend to look for more obscure stuff. I also like Greenwood nursery. Although they are a bit more expensive than some places (although not prohibitively so), their plants ae very nice and they have a wide selection (should be getting a shipment in the next couple of weeks)....See Moreanybody have any luck growing pitcher plants in sw florida?
Comments (5)Hi Everyone always forgets that Florida has 3 climate zones 8 9 and 10 and a sliver of 11. Sarracenia require a cool rest period of at least several weeks. They will waste away in 10. There are however many tropical species that love it here but are really tough to find. I would suggest a marsh or water garden rather than bog in 10. Really fantastic choices of plants It is possible to grow them here but not worth the effort for a "garden" gary...See MoreHas Anybody Purchased Range From Select Appliance?
Comments (8)i worked with that same guy about 4-5 years ago when i purchased a dynasty range from select appliance. this was back before there was so much competition online among big-ticket retailers, and i managed to purchase what was then a $3300 range for $2100 from select, plus no delivery fee and no sales tax. the curbside delivery was not an issue, since i had contractors working in the house and they were responsible for installing it. the range arrived with the wrong size backguard, which select remedied fairly quickly, and one of the switches and the main temperature dial for the oven arrived broken. i called the warranty service number for these and the service person came out within a couple of weeks and replaced them. all in all, i was very pleased with the experience. i felt like i was taking a big risk doing a purchase like that online, sight unseen, but i saved close to $1500 over what local retailers wanted to charge me....See Moreredlightblinking
