Living room layout - fireplace and built-in bench

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions for a layout for my new living room. It's currently a blank canvas, since we have yet to buy furniture for the room (we just moved in less than two weeks ago). I'd like to place a television in this room, retain the bench as a sitting area (if possible), and have the layout make sense from a design standpoint. I kind of would like the television to be visible from the bench, but it's not a deal-breaker.

We've considered placing the television:
1) over the fireplace,
2) in front of the wall next to the bench,
3) in front of the windows opposite the bench, or
4) in the bench area (in which case we'd build shelves and nix the bench idea).

However, none of these seem to be ideal, at least in terms of how we'd currently been thinking of the layouts. We're currently leaning toward options 2 and 4. Opposite of the fireplace (behind me when I was taking the photo) is a closet and a staircase leading to the second floor. We want to furnish it with at least a sofa (or loveseat or sectional) and a recliner.

Room measurements are:
- Exterior wall (w/ front door and windows): 14' 4 1/4" to the trim on the door
- Exterior wall (w/ fireplace and windows): ~13'
- Interior wall (w/ built-in bench): 13' 8 1/4"
- Bench length: 7' 10"
- Distance between window and front door: 5' 3"

If you need any more info, let me know! I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions.
