What shape table and light will work to break this layout up?

We have an open floor plan with kitchen, breakfast and family room all in one straight line. The total dimension of all 3 rooms together is 16'*44(floor plan attached) The electrical wiring for the chandelier over breakfast table is not centered but closer to the 3 windows. So the table would have to be against the window and not in the middle of the room. Should I go with a round table or oblong or rectangle one?

I thought I would get an oblong table with longer side parallel to the 3 windows in breakfast nook and a liner chandelier over the table. But now I wonder if it will make the overall look of the 3 rooms more long and narrow. What shape of table would work for this room?

This is the chandelier I had picked - should I change it to a more round one? http://www.lightingdirect.com/Quoizel-CKMS442-Marisol-5-Light-42-Linear-Chandelier-with-Beige-Hardback-Linen-Shade/p2302299?source=gg-gba-pla_2302299____52719456209&s_kwcid=PTC!pla!!!108011738249!g!!52719456209&gclid=CJWDm9jH8cICFeLm7Aod6WMALg
