When I went to pick up the mail tonight,I got a lovely surprise Christmas card

I did not join the card swap this year due to financial issues,but I rec'd one from a swap partner from a ways back.

Thank you Amazing Aunt Audrey!!

How sweet and so is Audrey.

Ron, I'll never forget when I could not afford to participate and you sent me the sweetest box of treats/gifts. I still have some of those.

WOW that stuff looks pretty good in a picture!!! I am SOOO glad you were pleased! I had to do a little fudging on the napkins since the fabric was slippery. I doubled them for when you want to do a special fold and have it "pretty" on both sides. You will eventually get another box (last week was Grandma Camp...I have to recover for a day or two :^) since I forgot an important item that belonged in the first box!! Gettin' old!! Thanks so much for posting...now I will be thinking about you every time I see purple Christmas decos :^)

Framing would be a great idea except that it is a letter written on both sides of the paper. My mom is getting him a clear sleeve to slide it into. That way he can pull it out easily whenever he wants to hold it, and yet it will still be protected. It is in really good shape for being 33 years old, we figure probably because it was stored in an envelope in the attic and away from any direct light which kept it from fading or getting damaged. My brother was really happy, I guess that's the only way I can describe it. He just kept holding it and reading it over and over saying "This is really neat". And he kept smiling. I told him "It's like Dad gave us a present this year" and he smiled and said "Yep!"

Another "nice" award......years ago when this site went to pay, someone paid my fee for me. I often think of how pleased I was.
