Comments (7)If you go to a book store I'll bet you can find a book that will have all the stitches in the back. I taught myself to knit and crochet by that. Look also in crochet magazines. If you are left handed though it will be much harder. Then you can scan the pages and "Flip" them and print them. Check the internet for "How to crochet" and you'll come up with loads. Comments (6)star, do you have a senior center near you or maybe a nursing home/assisted living type place? You can ask there if there would be anyone who knows how to knit who would be willing to teach you. Remember, just because someone is in a nursing home, doesn't mean they don't do needle work. I'll bet there is someone near by who would just love the companionship and time spent with you teaching you! If I lived close by, I'd try to teach you. Comments (8)I learned how to knit when I was a little girl and never really liked it. I lost too many stitches. To me sometimes you don't have to "think" when crocheting. But I'd go and take the classes if I were you. It can't be too much $$ And of course you'll always have the needles. You might find you like it better than crocheting.
