Flooring options for radiant floor heating

Hello,
We're interested in installing radiant floor heating in our new construction. The PEX tubing will be in the slab in the basement, and we will use either warmboard or gypcrete subfloors on the main level and second floor. We will have a home theater and exercise room in our basement. The home theater will be carpeted, and the exercise room will have a rubber flooring. The rest of the basement will likely be either tile or polished concrete, the main floor will be tile, and the second floor will be a combination of engineered hardwood and tile. I am concerned that radiant floor heat will not be effective under the rubber flooring in the exercise room and the carpet (would be a thin carpet) in the theater. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
