I need to sell or return as this is a DIY job and the vanity was like a third of my budget. thank you for the advice I will try it . if worse comes to worse I will buy a new quartz top and new sinks and maybe hubby will like it then. I picked marble and one of those semi in and out sinks. He especially hates that but does not love the vanity either. he says its Meh.

Craigslist can work, but people are looking for a bargain. Look to see what other similar vanties are selling for and price accordingly. Also make sure to put in the ad you will not help load the item.

Prices for things like that start at half of what you paid, and quickly deteriorate to ''whatever it takes to get it out of my garage''! Don't price it too high at first, or you won't get any responses.

Just ship it back... I know the $500 loss sucks but going by what you've picked out for the remodel - I would just eat the $500 and ship it back if the hubby truly hates it. Didn't you pick out a $600 toilet? You can go with one slightly cheaper to make up the shipping charges... just a thought...

yes I would love to ship it back but because I went back and forth for so long . I passed the 30 day return period. FML. So I have it on craiglist and am willing to sell it for almost anything but even that is hards as it can only be a local pickup. Right now marble counter is in my family room and vanity is in my garage! by the way I would love to see a pic of your new vanity that is being custom made and curious about the price. My hubby is leaning towards putting in ikea kitchen cabinets in the bath as a vanity with custom doors from a company called semihandmade. this way we can get the full 96 inches. but its costly because the custom doors for it are a lot of $. However it will be very modern and frameless which is what my hubby wanted,

PS I think I love that toilet. LOl I cant send it back.it was hard to find a one piece, good flushing toilet.

My house looks like a construction zone. I already have the tub here too and other things like shower head. I ordered 4 medicine cabinets to put in together instead of the big mirror I have there now. I hope that works,

ok ok, if you love the toilet keep it and I didn't realize you already had it LOL. I totally understand there are just some items we love and gotta have :) for me I went cheap on the light fixtures and other little details but splurged on the vanity top for example - but I knew I wanted quartz so I get it when there is stuff you love.

How far past the 30 days are you? you can always call and say you're not happy with the vanity and see if they will take it back. Otherwise the piece is still very nice looking. You may find a spot somewhere else in the house for it.. or with time someone may eventually buy it.

With 96" in your space I think a modern custom vanity fit exact to the space will look great. I was quoted Kitchen craft cabinets and they are frameless and have the modern look & feel. They were pricey but may be in your budget. I think Kitchen craft is just a mid grade line. I could be wrong though.

My vanity came last night and I'm very happy with it. The pics are hard to see because we have it in our tiny den and the lighting isn't the greatest. We went for more of the traditional look. It's a cherry front with a pretty dark/reddish finish. I can't wait to see what it looks like installed with the new top. I paid $1050. I will try to post pics from my phone.

Your vanity is beautiful ! Today we picked up our Ikea kitchen cabinet boxes that we using to create our bathroom vanity . we are waiting on samples from the custom door guy. Seems crazy to me but i am letting my hubby have the vanity he wants. I am going to focus on the stuff i wanted and am g e tting like heated floors . awsome tub and dimable lights .

Man I still can't believe you're not using that beautiful teak/marble vanity but I hear you on just letting him pick out the new one. I can't wait to see pics! :)
