Adding a second sink to a single sink vanity - help

Home we purchased has a single sink vanity. The underlying cabinets are long enough for two, but the bowls (and therefore drain if central to the bowl) would center right over the structural support of the cabinets.

Basically the cabinets are divided into thirds, with center doors and then drawers on each side. and the separation between those areas is right where the bowls for two sinks would go.

We would like to avoid purchase of new cabinets if possible.

Is there a way to get a whole top mounted sink (something fairly shallow and modern looking) that would incorporate two bowls and would fit on TOP of the cabinet - thereby not having to make any cuts into the drawers below?

We are going with a modern/transitional style.

Appreciate any help.
