Holiday seed swap: Christmas came early!

Got home tonight to find 73 packets of seed! Yay!

A few notes:

1. I do not think any of the three on my wish list were in here- but no big deal, I now have many more varieties to choose from!

2. I now have 11 packets of Caballero Hot from Pinkiris, so if anyone wants one, I'm happy to send one or two along! :)

BIG thanks to everyone involved in the swap- an especially to our long-suffering organizer. Your efforts are GREATLY appreciated!

Dark brown or black are C.Pubescence seeds. Manzanos,Rocotos are some of the names for the peppers depending where they are from. i've got several plants going now.They like to be under 80- 85 or so degrees to fruit. Some kinds get really big. Crickets love them.They chew the outer layer off the plant. Right now mine are growing like weeds. Peru Rocoto small plants with a bud. Yellow Manzano

Received my package today...well at least I believe it was from this swap. Not quite sure cause no communication inside and no return address. Received back 10 of my own pkgs... OK, on second look, I did get one: chocolate habanero.

I was interested in trying out Mako Akokasrade & Brazilian Starfish. I realize the first is a little hard to find- and I *did* instruct Johnny to fill other people's orders before mine- as I am noob with nothing to offer- so I am definitely NOT complaining one bit.

At first the number of varieties available , (over 400), sounded like that there should be more than enough to satisfy 73 wish lists, in a random distribution scheme. But apparently the demand curve was more like a bell curve : FEW varieties had the MOST demand while MOST varieties got the LEAST chasers. That is how out of 7 my in my wish list only 3 became a reality and instead I got over 34 varieties that I did not wish to have. And in one instance I got 7 bags a certain variety. Anybody wants some "Fish" ? hehe

I had the Brazilian Starfish on my list too, lol. It wasn't at the top of the list though. I'd be interested.

And I'll take you up on the offer for the Caballero. Is that an Aji? Since I've had a particle taste of the Aji Limon from Esox07's seed packet my mouth fell in love - Haha! Curious about the other Aji's now.

Got my early Christmas present today. Thank you Pepper Claus! DD and I took a quick look through, lots of variety, I don't know how many from my list but sure looked like most (all?) of the ones I really wanted. Thanks to everybody who sent in seeds! And now Johnny can take a well-deserved rest (I'm amazed you got this done with a 2-yr old!!)

I have the Mako Akokasrade and can make about 10 packs for anyone that wants and didn't get them. I also have a bunch of Chocolate habs(20 or more packs). Anyone can message me for a SASE or maybe trade. I'll try to update my trade list this weekend as I may have others that someone may want.

I received seeds today, this surprised me as I had put a note in with what I sent telling Johnny I didn't need seeds back because I already had mine for next year. A LOT of different kinds and only a couple of ones I already had!!!! It really brought a smile to face when I opened it. Thank you all who participated and thank you Johnny for the awesome surprise!!!!! I'll start germinating this weekend.....its gonna be a great growing season!!!

dwyerkg ,... The sway ended in December. But it you post what varieties you are interested in, I am sure there will be some members who might have extra seeds. I donataed most of my UNWANTED seeds already but I still have quite few (from swap and my own).
