Anyone Extending the Growing Season in Cloudy Climates?

paul2567

I'm in the cloudy midwest (near Chicago) and I want to extend the growing season as long as possible without using supplemental light. I'll be using a simple and dirt cheap air geo thermal system and thermal mass to keep the temps warm enough in my greenhouse but don't want to invest in lighting and the electricity to run it. I realize I probably won't be able to grow peppers and tomatoes etc. but assume there are some things I could grow.

So my question is where can I find a list of crops that will produce in lower light conditions. Thanks.
