Funny, Yoyo, because I didn't even notice the missing letters and had to read your second post twice to get it.

I like your first post very much and agree heartily.

Some funny ones at this site. I laughed at the one that said, "Read fast. Life is short."

This month is Breast Cancer awareness month. I was following an old beaten up pickup truck the other day; it was full of ladders, pails, shovels and tarps. At the stop light I noticed a bright pink bumper sticker with the trademark pink ribbon. It stood out against the dents and rust. The words on it were in black: "SAVE THE TA-TAs!!!"

Omg, I was laughing so hard - I know its probably not politically correct but it somehow suited the driver and I like to think, and I do think this, that it was placed on there in support of breast cancer research etc and not laughing at it.

I saw one recently that I'd love to have: I BRAKE FOR BOOKSTORES.

I love the "Save The Ta Tas" signs......and I think it's perfectly correct.
We want to raise awareness of the importance of mammos and reach everyone....whether they call them breast, boobs, ta tas or "the girls" !

And speaking of which , October is Breast Cancer awareness month.
I just have to include this hilarious cookie recipe for you all to enjoy.

Here is one I made up:

Save the forests. Buy an eReader!

Wish I could like my eReader better than a physical book, but I just don't.

There is a bumpersticker on a car that parks near to my car at work. It has a smallish square sticker that says, "Recycle Books!" I always thought I should leave a note on the windshield to say that I like it.

    Here's a double dose:

    Librarians are novel lovers

Librarians do it between the stacks

    PAM -

I completely agree with your idea about leaving notes on a car with bumper stickers that you like. A car in my old office parking lot had a sticker from City Lights bookstore in SF. The sticker was getting a bit ratty looking, so when I was in SF, I was going to the same shop anyway and bought this car-owner a replacement sticker. Put it on her windshield with a little note to explain the random event, and now see her driving around with the new sticker on.

    #Passitforward type stuff. :-)

Yoyo - I adore that "silently correcting your grammar" sticker except sometimes that I'm not so silent about it. :-)

    PAM...........love the idea.
Random good deeds are such fun.

    Lemonhead....yeah.
I have the "editor gene" which is rarely as warmly received as I imagine it's going to be.
