I stumbled across this article (link below) and was quite surprised to find out Byatt and Drabble are sisters.
I read and loved Byatt's Possession, and I know I read something by Drabble a long time ago, though I can't recall what it was. (However, I vividly recall describing the beginning of the book as an "Aga Saga" here on RP -- this was years and years ago -- and Vee gently informing me that Drabble would most likely put her head in an oven if she saw such a comment attached to her writing -- whoops! I definitely did not know of whom I spoke at the time.)
Has anyone read other books by either sister, and if so, what would you recommend, especially as an intro to Drabble? I have Byatt's The Children's Book in my TBR pile, and I'd be interested in more suggestions.
