I was looking for suggestions about pruning my lemon tree because I thought it was getting too tall, but according to what I have just read I guess i’ll Let it continue to grow. It was started from an overripe lemon that I had about 3 years ago and right now it is almost. 4 feet tall. I pinched it back several times in the past to try making it bushier which it did and now it is growing rapidly again. Hopefully if I let it grow I will get some fruit to go with the beautiful foliage.

Rosaprimula, I totally get that feeling although I don't have that many years in experience and not quite there yet in age. I did a lot of stuff from seed and cuttings at first but the past year or so I started becoming more 'lazy' and impatient on plants for my garden that I just started buying plants from the nursery and just planting it. Seeing established, nice and dense gardens from people in this forum makes me want to achieve that asap. But with self propagated plants I have to wait many years until I see any progress. Rouge, is that a seed grown one? If so you got lucky! It's so bright I didn't even see the white flowers until I zoomed in the pic Diggerdee, I rarely ever see any bleeding heart seedlings around here. Not sure what the difference is between the ones you see and I see. Can't say its climate either since you're not that far from me. But with this one I sowed it on flats and left it alone for the whole winter. Maybe I should've winter sowed it for better results

I have had AVs that self-pollinated and I grew out and saved the seeds once, but somehow I never tried growing them! Since I've now had success with propagating from flower stem cuttings, I'm thinking of trying growing from seed. Any tips on hybridizing AVs?!
