Ria Before you spend that $$, JT recently said that he dips or sprays all his brugs with Murphy Oil Soap, with some Spectracide Triazicide thrown in but he said it is really the MOS that does the job. He mixes about 3 oz of Murphy's and a little heavy on the triazicide (follow instructions!!), to a gallon of water. You do have to spray completely, top and bottom, those plants that are in small enough pots you can mix up solution in 5 gallon bucket and dip them. Since you have to get full coverage, I remove all my large leaves and many of the smaller ones. I am dipping my cuttings! Hate to send out critters with my cuttings. This may be a solution. He says the MOS, mixed with water, works. MOS was less than $3.50 @ Walmart. Good luck. Will email you tomorrow! Brenda

Urea contains almost 47% (46.7) N, but it's usually gives the analysis as 46-0-0 because the product usually contains some water. We have pallets of 46-0-0 pure urea for sale at all the farm stores & elevators around here. Are you thinking of ammonium or potassium nitrate? Mollema and Son (a wholesale greenhouse suplier) carried it (extra low-biuret urea), but they were recently acquired by Commerce Corp and I'm unable to find the Commerce website (I've used it dozens of times, but it's changed.). I'd agree that no turf grass will hold up well to routine use by toddlers and their toys. Artificial turf or playground mulch would be more suited. If you must overseed, then look for a cool season, high traffic playground blend. Local area nurseries should carry these sorts of seeds in small quantities. Mine sells them in 3 lb bags and in larger sizes up to 50#. Feed and seed stores may also offer them in bulk.
