I used to grow commercial greenhouse tomatoes if it gets to humid you are asking for bight or moldI still grow in small houses 20x24 and start in Feb here in maine I lug them back and forth to the house to save on heat I start out with vey small containers and then to half dollar sized and finally to 4 inch by that time you usually can leave them in the greenhouse with maybe a little heat Daconil is a great spray for fungusI found out Wipe your feet before going in and keep traffic at a minumin

Thanks guys, no I did not supercrop. In fact, I did prune off the suckers ... later I found out that I should NOT have done that. It will severely hurt your yield they say. However, the plants are much bigger then the previous photos and are setting fruit quite nicely. Ill try to get some pics posted tonight. Also, my green pepper plants have sprouted, along with a pretty purple pepper plant, and a beefmaster indeterimante tomato plant. My basil is growing great, and I have been topping the basil which is in turn responding nicely and starting to grow "tops". My lettuce is like a wildfire as well .. fun stuff! Now that I got my newbie mistakes out of the way I think Im ready to rock on the next grow ;) I need to take a few clones of these totem hybrids though, I really like them. I think my next grow however, will be an INDETERMINANT cherry type tomato plant, and an indeterminant slicer variety as well, along with a few green peppers, lettuce, and spinach. Then I want to try a blueberry bush and some strawberries. I dont think the blueberries will be any problem but the strawberries are a different matter. In trying to find a continously producing line. The june bearers only fruit once a year, and then theres a seasonal variety that fruit twice a year.... neither will fit my requirements. I think I need to go with a day neutral variety to get a continous fuit production for the life of the plant??

While Fusion mentioned the one source, you can find many commercial seed cos, listing greenhouse types. I've grown TRUST for many years now after a Canadian researcher and consultant stated that 90% of Canadian greenhouse growers grow that variety. If you look at johnnys seed catalog they will list a number of GH compatable varieties. Other european sources are more noted for best GH performers. You might want to check out COBRA and BUFFALO varieties as popular GH choices. I've also had very good success with BIG BEEF in my GH growing experiences that span 9 months of the year. It has excellent disease resistance and is well accepted as a flavorful variety. To answer the other part of your question about taste- Some of the most flavorful tomatoes are grown hydroponically. If you can get a good healthy plant to produce fruit and allow fruit to ripen on the vine then you should have excellent flavor. Accomplishing that goal may be a chalenge in the middle of winter.

I am going to check the link out now. Honestly I'm just beginning to research. Marketing strategy? Honestly I dont know. I dont know if it'd be better to go the organic route, I'm sure you have to get FDA crap to be able to actually claim it so that might be a pain, I also dont know the difficulty of getting rid of the tomatoes. Is it hard to get local grocery stores to take them in the off months? I'm just vocalizing my initial "no clue" thoughts. This is just a bubble of a hope of an idea right now. Based on what I've read on In ground beds or containers...Again, I dont know yet. I have experience growing in coco and I dont know the quality of my soil. I'd prefer in the ground if going with organics, and probably pots if not I'm just sort of wanting to play with it for a few harvests feeling it out really...If I'd be able to pull it off...if I can find buyers for the product etc If it looks like I can make it work advance from there.
