Hi Fuzzy158, Welcome to Garden Web. I thought you might like to know there is no email link on your member page, thus no way to email you. To set up your email link, just go to the bottom on any page here, and click on Member Pages Then click on Edit your Personal Information, Page, and Preferences You will then probably be asked to login in again. Then check the box Allow other users to send you email via forms at our site. That will place a link on your member page, making it handy for members (potential traders) to reach you in the future.. While there editing, you might want to put your state abbreviation in the one box provided for the zone and LOCATION. Some members, myself included, will not respond to a trade post if there is no location for the member. It is a postage cost, days in transit, temperature, hardiness thing. Happy Gardening and trading. Sue

Hey there, I have black jack that seeded last year, and the very fragile babies have just emerged. They can't be transplanted right now just because they are so delicate, but if you can't find any, just email next spring and I'll trade ya. I'd not feel good about trying to bring them up this year... I just know they'd break. They do have the parent's color, and the crown is a new, but just has three stems. Chris

Ironic about the soil mix, I've had no problems at all with it up here, either left in small pots, moved up to larger or planted in the ground with Annie's soil mix, and haven't heard any complaints from others. I do remember having the exact same problem with succulents purchased from my old friend Gary Hammer's nursery down south, I had the same issues you have,(or in my case, the soil mix was too heavy and stayed too wet for some things up here). Obviously soil mix for containers which dry out quickly will need to vary by climate. As Annie's mix generally does drain quickly as they are typically watering their 4 inch plants at least daily, what is your specific problem? Is it that it dries out too quickly, or maybe you aren't watering as often as they do at the nursery and leaving them in small pots. You are a lot hotter down south and things would dry out much more quickly down there.
