Can anyone ID this Labiatae?

I sowed a packet of T&M's scented flowers in spring, and there's a lot of something out now that must be common but I don't know what it is.

It's about 8"-10" high, with quite narrow, very toothed nettle-shaped leaves that were very purplish when young, and deep red stems. Initially, I thought the leaves smelt of aniseed, but now I think it's lemon. It has large bright blue lipped flowers in whorls. They're quite big, like a Salvia, but it doesn't have a rosette of leaves at the base.

Can anyone identify it for me, please?

Taken a photo now. Is it Nepeta cataria var. citriodora?

Not a plant I'm familiar with, but it doesn't look like Nepeta. Maybe try Galeopsis for a better match.

Not possible to id without the flower. And to give the cutting the best chance the flower bud should be removed. I suppose you could remove the flower and put it in water to see if it will open. Buddleja is pretty easy to root, so good luck.

Update: if anyone is curious...this plant grew more leaves longer oval and it's a Ruelia Simplex.

"look at a fasciated Celosia flower". Yes, that's what poaky posted and that's what I was referring to. Cannas can be grown here as summer bedding, and they do lend a tropical feel, but I'm not that keen on them and my garden is definitely not designed to look tropical. As for sunshine, we're an island, so we do get a lot of cloud. But we do get sun too. The main feature of our weather is its changeability. You might have had a week of sun in March .... or a week of rain, or snow or fog or gales. Or all of the above.

I think it is a Dracocephalum species. See similar images on http://www.anjastuin.nl/dracocephalum.html. Several Dracocephalum species have a lemon / minty flavour, e.g. D. moldavicum and D. nutans.

Thank you, it does look like a Dracocephalum. Now I know what it is, I'll move it somewhere it can be appreciated. When the packed said Fragrant, I was expecting scented flowers, but I do like smelly leaves!
