It can be amazing-for one example-not yours-where some folks will have a plant in the dark corner inside their house, wondering why it's not thriving! That one always gets me. How could you sleep through an entire year of middle school? You know, the year where they taught you about that funny word photosynthesis! Wish I was kidding-and again, this is nothing to do with this thread-but I have seriously found quite a number of questions on these boards where people apparently don't know that plants run on light! In any case, yes, your plant is looking very good indeed!

Rusted nails don't work. So stop that. And stop w/ the Epsom salts. No fertilizer until next year -- and even then you maynot need any -- until after the tree is well established. And stop the spraying, too. You didn't say where you put the water. Where did you water? (Early on, it must be onto -- and into -- the original rootball much more often than the surrounding soil.)

This is not the correct forum for this question. Try posting in either the Garden Clinic forum or the Container Gardening forum. I will say that gardenias are difficult to grow well indoors or in a container.

Here's a picture from today with lots more flowers but still a LOT of yellow leaves. How do I help this gardenia be healthy with flowers and green healthy leaves? Thank you!
