I'd put a modest bet on Anthericum. I've got Asphodelus, but I wouldn't call it delicate looking. I believe Camassia is a bulb, although this is only what I've looked up via Google.

Almost certainly the anthericum from the description, but mine is not in flower yet. However there are several so yours could just be another species. Camassia has rather course leaves and the asphodel is quite chunky from recollection. Anthericums are usually a good clean white delicate flower whereas camassia is more solid, spiky and cream, single or double forms, flower stem up to 3' if leichtlinii, less if the other species. No seed with the double. Camassia has a bulb similar to a daffodil, anthericum has a mass of thick white roots.

I´m no expert and I don´t even know what Anthericums are...so amybe you should listen to the other posters and not me! BUT Ashodels grow wild out here and your description sounds fairly close to how I´d describe them. Did you notice if the white stars have thin, brown delicate veins on them (down the middle of each petal if memory serves). But the decider could be the round seed pods on the stems after the flowers have gone. Hope this helps

I'm familiar with the big pinkish/dirty white Asphodel of Mediterranean regions, and it isn't that, definitely. I thought that was Asphodelus fistulosus, but I've also sown Asphodelus albus, which hasn't flowered yet. The flowers on my plant were pure white.

I've just poked around the roots, and there isn't a definite bulb, just thongy roots, so I'll go with Anthericum liliago. I knew the experts here would be able to ID it for me.

That's the trouble with growing all these unknown seeds - you don't know what to expect when they do flower!
