I accidentally discovered this forum while doing a search on Silica Sand. I noticed several questions re supplies needed for Hypertufa. visit www.psnaturecreations.com, there is a link there to their ebay store-selling everything needed to make Hypertufa--plus a lot of great ideas! This is where I shop.

It has a periwinkle blue cup, HDD, and is a fairly large plant with somewhat narrow light green leaves and relatively little dark blotching. Doesn't match the description in Derek's article (i.e. smaller size, red cup) or any of the FCBS photos (except maybe Golinski's?) at all. I'm not going to run out an change the tags unless I get a reliable ID on it, though. I was told that Harry gave it the thumbs up as Plutonis, but maybe I'll send him a photo the next time it blooms just to double check. I gave up trying to keep all of the concentricas and concentrica-type hybrids straight long ago. There are just too many of them!

Jody, In my experience and I've transported a lot of flowers your always going to have some water accident. So if you drive a nice van get one of those rubber trays they make for the back of vans so it will catch the water. Now then, I have not had too much problem with 5 gallon buckets tipping if they don't have too much water in them and just enough to make them sturdy. I prefer the 2 1/2 gallon buckets because they don't smash my flowers as much. If your basement is cool then there would be no need to refrigerate. Most flowers can survive one night in a cool basement and be just fine the next day. Are you using plastic sleeves for the bouquets? If you want to prevent as much damage to your flowers in transport it might be a good idea. Best of luck, Kathy

Who ever is selling you the cabinets ought to get you a sample before you order. You might have to pay for the sample, but I think it's worth it.
