dicsonia antarctica crown reducing

hi all. I have recently moved my DA which I have had for approximately 2 years. The crown has been reducing ever since I purchased this plant and I felt it was perhaps due to the fact that it needed more shade. Blimey - what a job moving it. Couldn't believe how large the root ball was! Anyway, its now growing away happily in its new site which is much more shaded and there are new fronds appearing.

Can I ask, will the crown continue to reduce or will it stay as it is?

Is there any chance the crown will grow back to its original size?

In in the UK in the Manchester area.

Thanks in anticipation of your expert advice.
