I really love Maria Shriver. I think it's my favorite ultra-fragrant white rose because its fragrance is complex and divine. I have tons of fragrant roses, and Maria's fragrance makes me swoon. My only complaint about it is that it is rather prone to thrips... but ultra-fragrant roses are all prone to thrips damage (they attract them) and you notice it more on the light colored roses. It reblooms well for me. A close second favorite ultra-fragrant white is White Lightnin'. More petals and more substance than Maria, but it doesn't bloom quite as much... but it's still a great rose. I also really love Full Sail, but it is extremely prone to balling here in damp weather. I've seen PJP and loved the fragrance, but it always looked kind of ratty, so I never got it. I grew Moonstone for a number of years, and finally took it out a couple of years ago. Super nice non fragrant exhib style pink edged white, but it was extremely prone to balling with a hint of damp. It bloomed very much in big flushes, and rebloomed fast. Super vigorous plant. Hope this helps! Susan

That's Moondance. It's a floribunda that opens fairly quickly to a fully open form. There's a lovely inbetween stage that you might have missed if your weather is too warm (it opens faster then).

Hmmm, I've looked through every rose at HMF that has "summer" or "kiss" in the name and did not find any Tea roses. There are several Hybrid Teas, which is a separate class, and Summer's Kiss is one of them. It is an amber HT by Meilland and goes by several names. Moondance and Spirit of Peace are two of them but the exhibition name is Paul Ricard. Many roses go by several names depending on where they're sold. Are you sure about that name? Do you have any other information about it?

Moondance is a Floribunda with some fragrance but nothing great. I did not realize there is a HT Moondance too. Thanks for looking! Here is a link that might be useful: Moondance (floribunda) on Help Me Find
