what kind are you looking for?? Nelumbo will need a lot of soil and will hold their leaves half a foot above the water. Euryale ferox (crinkly leaved, hot water grower) will need quite a lot of room but you may be able to stunt it's growth in a container. Or there is the queen victoria lilly, victoria amazonica, with leaves up to 5 feet across. You will need a seriously large heated pond for this one!
I once had a greenhouse pond and i wanted to grow these plants but i decided against it as the pond wasn't big enough and wouldn't stay hot enough. I hope you have some good luck with these and when they grow, post some pics because i would love to see them.
how are you planning on growing them?? indoors? If you tell me the ones you are looking for, i'm sure i could dig up the shops i was going to order them from.
