I increased my pond size to 14ft x 9ft approx 126sqft surface area, the bigger the surface area the better i have been told, and read. I have also been told and read that if you have trouble with the dreaded ALGAE you should cover 3/4 of your pond with plants, which i have done, with mostly water lilies, but my surface area is now down to 31.5sq ft. Tomorrow i am going to increase my pond size to get back my desireable 126sqft surface area, i hope to god the ALGAE does not come back, i am running out of garden, perhaps i will take down my wifes greenhouse she won`t notice its gone. If you dont hear from me again you will know, she did.
