Trouble with Buxus

We bought a Buxus (approx 60cm tall) to go in a container last summer. We planted it and all was well until we realised that the container was perhaps a little too small for it and the soil was becoming water logged. We replanted it in a larger pot, well drained, with Buxus food in the compost.

It seems to have dried out quite a lot, especially on one side. We didn't water it much over the winter, which perhaps was our mistake.

Can anyone recomend how often to water it and what we should do about the dried out foliage. Should we cut it back and if so, by how much?
