I know this is an old post but the plant is a pepino

one thing for sure.. its a shade plant.. as all begonia are .. it has high water needs.. and will continue to bloom if you pinch off spent flowers ... if there isnt a begonia forum ... try the perennial forum ... as its a little more active than the annual forum .... with high water needs.. usually humidity is an issue.. and that is where a lot of these things fail indoors .. if you run a hot air furnace all winter.. it might survive.. but it will be a challenge indoors in winter ... dad used to store the tubers dry for winter.. with some success ... ken
