@bella99 white or cream color in BC is a 'common' or 'mountain' grade. I personally love that look. Also what everyone needs to keep in mind is BC darkens significantly in a short period of time. I find it usually changes to a deep dark burgandy color. Most people love this.

To me, different manufacturers have different colors of BC. I've only seen one retailer sell BT and you will want to stay far away from LL and that Bellajunkwood.

I have Brazilian cherry hardwoods in my living room which is adjacent to my kitchen. I need flooring in my kitchen. I am considering lacing the existing floor, and buying more of the same species to go in the kitchen. I assume I would have to try to sand and stain all of it the same to make it as seamless as possible. However, knowing the orange-y shade of cherry, I am wondering if I even have an option that would go with dark brown stained cabinetry. There is zero hint of orange in the cabinets.

You will have a hard time finding anything that was made several years ago. One of the regular posters here will call those efforts "a fool's errand". You might be able to get some unfinished engineered flooring and stain it to match. If there are any out-of-the-way areas when you could use this flooring, that would be the best thing to do. If you were able to "harvest" some flooring from existing areas (maybe closets) to use in your project, that would also be an option. It might be best to plan on an using an unfinished product for the entire project that you stain to match your existing project. That would be more expensive, but you would still have your extra product for repairs. However, I did stumble into some discontinued flooring in a vintage store a few months ago. I was completely surprised -- so it might be out there.
