No not scutellaria elliptica either,I have grown that one and that one can be ruled out as well as humilis, galericulata, tournefortii, ventenatii, ovata, tesselata, nana, costericana, playfairii,sp from yucatan, pontica, salviafolia, albida, indica, altissima and javanica and a few others that I have grown.

Jelitto seeds Hardyplants in the US Ebay have a few. I have amassed quite a few thus far and wanting to add to the collection,I have never had scutellaria incana germinate here in Australia yet had this little gem germinate and flower from the water hole in a pot a few weeks ago, wasnt too sure what it was but I am leaning towards it being scutellaria ovata, it is so pretty. After googling a few the foliage matched a few pics. I have also got another unnamed scutellaria that I have never been able to id, it is labelled as scutellaria formosana on my flickr which is a synonym for scutellari javanica which it isnt... Cheers Annette Here is a link that might be useful: Scutellaria ovata

bumping this post up, it may be valuable to others as well What is the concensus on WS Gallardia; will it bloom the first yr? Making a bed in the front and want everything I put there to bloom. One of the commenters said WS perennials are more likely to bloom, I'm hoping that is true for Gallardia and many of my other perennials. Can anyone add to this list. I've been away for awhile but sowed 350 jugs this yr. I'm very busy potting things up. Thanks to all the posters here for all your help, enthusiasm, and encouragement. thanks also to trudy who sent me heirloom seeds twice ( I gasve a set away to a blind man who wanted to sow them; cool huh?), so needed another. I love WSing and will always do it every yr. I've never ever had this kind of success. Went from being a beginner perennial sower to a pro over night, LOL thanks to WSing. Hope everyone is enjoying their Spring and everything is germinating. One more ques, SORRY. When do we give up on a jug? I've put them all together, and have little activity out of about 30 out of the 350, I'd say thats pretty good. They are in a sunny locationa nd kept watered. They are under cold frame at night and to watrm up the jugs in the morning and top lifted during the warm days. I know the Trees will take longer. I had a few trees germ for me already. Catapala, 1 Locust Germ and Golden Chain tree. Having fun yet? Micki

Fantastic list of seeds! I think it is just great that you have focused your life on nature at such a young age. I too would love to have 10 (maybe 5) acres someday to plant a wonderland of natives plants, and am already doing that on 1.25 acres. Difference is, my interest didn't come into sharp focus until age 45. :) There are quite a few seeds on this list I am interested in, and I checked your want list and I have a few on that list. Maybe we can do a trade this fall? Just a note - on your want list is Cynanchum louiseae - this is an extremely invasive non-native vine that is becoming a serious problem in the Northeast US. And it has the additional problem that Monarch butterflies will "sense" it is in the Milkweed family, lay eggs on it, and then it will kill the caterpillars because it is toxic to Monarch larvae.
