Your indoor bamboo isn't bamboo, it's dracaena sanderiana (marketed as "Lucky Bamboo"). It's not uncommon for this houseplant to last only 1-2 years and then croak. Do a search on Google and you'll see lots of info on this plant. If you've changed the water and given it a little fertilizer and it keeps yellowing, it's time to toss it and start over. I guess you could always try to cut off the part that still looks ok and stick it in water to see if it roots...

If you get a healthy plant, you may not want to start a spraying program. Give it lots and lots of light and water. However, let it dry out before watering again. If you do get pests then I would address that issue then. Crazyboo

Oh great...threads I took part in are now considered "old." Usually neem oil has been sufficient for control for me. I buy the concentrate and then use a pump sprayer to cover all surfaces.

You're right. It's not bamboo mites. I've grown a lot of types of bamboo, but never seen that. I'd try spraying with a solution of neem oil and an eco-friendly soap, like Safer. It's often necessary to do a second spray with pests a week or so later because you may be dealing with different stages of development of these bugs.
