WANTED: Perennial spinach

I can't remember the name of this spinach but it grows really tall. I bought a cutting at the Herb Awareness day at Mt Cootha in the autumn but unfortunately, it didn't strike. Does anyone have it?

I have seeds of Perpetual Spinach if that is what you mean...it is not a perrenial but you will always seem to have some without trying (assuming you let it grow long enough so that it can set seeds)...mine is over two and a half meters tall at the moment and I am getting leaves from it every day

That sounds like what I want. Are there any restrictions on sending seeds to the mainland? I would be interested if there are not.

Coho was discontinued a few years ago, for reasons that aren't completely clear. I think new and better (according to the seed companies) took its place. Might still be old seeds available somewhere.

Perpetual Spinach, the one Peter offered, is a variety of silverbeet. Is that what you're after? It's a nice silverbeet, but it's not perennial. It just has an over-optimistic name.

I found some perpetual spinach at the markets yesterday. It is not the one I wanted, which has an actual woody trunk, so still looking. Thank you to those who replied.

My perpetual spinach is well over 2.5m high and has a very thick trunk supporting it (It is a type of silverbeet... Beta vulgaris...as is swisschard, some other spinachs, and even beetroot, sugarbeet and mangles)
