Hello, [Pick-up ONLY; I've no way to deliver this...Jacksonville, FL] I have a Live Oak I purchased in March from the Jax Annual Flowering Tree sale. I originally purchased it to donate, but have not found any suitable donors and it would be too much work in addition to the trees I've planted in our park, to transplant. It's about 10' tall (in it's container) by 3' wide. As it's in my backyard, I've been able to keep up with it with watering, very light / diluted nitrogen fertilizer and mulch in addition to protecting the sides of the container for the intense heat this summer. The container has extra holes drilled for proper drainage. The tree has not shown any signs of stress thus far. I would be more than happy to trade it for something along the lines of the following, or likewise suggestions, such as a small tree for the land between the road and sidewalk. [1] Feijoa Sellowiana (Would really love one or more of these) [2] Large Gardenia(s) flowering/scented that is easy-manage in Florida [3] perennial peanut that I can use as a groundcover/mow [4] suggestions :) Please feel free to contact me here or at cammunism at gmail dot com

I don't know what the big deal is about offering something you're giving away - here, instead of the swap/trade page. I wanted to give away a serviceberry last fall, and wanted to cover all 'the bases', so I posted it here, as well as the trade/swap page, and got reprimanded. I wanted to make sure the PA people were aware of it, since they're within my state, and could drive to come get it. I wasn't interested in possibly shipping it, it was large. So what?
