WANTED: Blue Tomato varieties

Hi all, I'm a newbie to the forums :)

I am desperately trying to find blue tomato varieties in Australia - P20/OSU Blue, Bosque, or anything similar. I'd love to grow them for my preschooler in her little veggie patch but they're near impossible to find.

Could anyone kindly contact me and help out? I'm sure I'll have something I can trade or alternatively I can send a S.A.S.E.

Hello Mish84 I collect tomatoes but haven't yet found any blue tomatoes in Australia. The variety Purple Smudge however contains the same Anthrocynan gene. Like the other blues Purple Smudge delevops colour in response to strong light but usually only on its shoulders. The blues develop colour best in colder temperatues. I recently ordered Purple Smudge from Burrendong Gardens.

I am interested in conversing with anyone else in Australia who is keen on tomatoes to share knowledge and seeds.

wanted: osu blue tomato and italian ice tomato

I'm looking for these two types of tomatoes. Italian Ice is a burpee exclusive but I figured someone on here must have it and the OSU Blue Tomato is a new breed of tomato apparently that turns blackish purple in the sun. I'm able to trade Prickly Pear Seeds and Green Bell Pepper seeds.

Hi Chris, I have quite a few tomatoes on my list, so I'm sure you'll find something you'd like. I would be interested in your carrots in tape, plus blood red, nutri-red, purple dragon; tall utah celery; and radishes in tape. You can chose two tomato varieties for the seed tape, since I know that is more expensive. Maria Here is a link that might be useful: my trade list
