Agapanthus wilting

warday

Our Agapanthus are looking very sick at present - wilting and the stems are very soft, almost like they are rotting at the base. We have treated for an infestation of mealy bugs that now appear to have cleared up. The garden is also infested with common garden slaters - could they have any effect?

The new growth is comming through but has a white powdery substances (similar to the Mealy bugs) on the leave. They then die off.

All suggestions appreciated.

Regards

Peter
