I wintersowed them last winter and planted them in two seperate gardens - one garden (part shade) they only grew about 24" - the garden in full sun they were over 4' tall. I was disappointed in how pale they were in both ga rdens. I want to try the darker shade next year...... Lynne

Hi twigfarm! I wintersowed mine and they did great. I'm hoping that I will have some self seeders. This is my first year for them. You'll love wintersowing. Last winter was my first year and I am hooked! Read up on the FAQ page and if you have any other questions just ask. This a wonderful group of people.
