The onions are variously called "Top-setters", "Tree-onions", "Walking Onions", and multiplying/dividing onions. Several varieties exist: Egyptian, Catawissa, Heritage, and others. The Allium Forum can help you find them and explain about them. Also Territorial Seed has the onions (Egyptian variety). You also might want to Google for it. Here's what I have available. Cilantro, spinach mustard greens, bronze fennel, purple chives,garlic chives, dark star zucchini, orange rocoto pepper (hot), mammoth dill, breadseed poppy, white lisbon bunching onion, cinnamon basil,holy basil and dark opal purple basil and Ms. Burns lemon basil. Well, starting onion seeds in January is in my calendar. So the asking. But onion is just a low priority. I could just go to store and buy a pack. Not particularly picky. But I think it is worth asking. The GW trading is just a hit and miss. A lot of folks list things for trade, but rarely available. Even the seeds....
