I have tons of opium poppy seeds in mixed colors (the mix is probably about 80% purple, 10% red, and 10% pink with a very few peony poppies which are also a variety of opium poppy), although I also have separated out some of the red and pink into separate envelopes. As you probably know, poppies don't transplant well, so these are seeds and not plants. I have never planted sweet peas, but am interested in either sweet peas or narcissus. Let me know what you think (I can be generous with the poppy seed!) :) --Heather

I'm looking for something I can stick in the ground easily - namely, interesting bulbs hardy to zone 6b - Darwin hybrid or fringe tulips, possibly narcissus (though I have a lot already so please only something quite interesting), colchicum, fall blooming crocus, martagon lilies, iris reticulata, iris xiphium, etc. Please nothing small and invasive such as muscari, hyacinthoides hispanica, ipheon unifolium (these have become some of the banes of my gardening existence). Here's what I'm offering at the moment: I have freshly harvested seeds from my paeonia ostii 'Feng Den Bai' seedling. If you want photos of the peony, just ask. I have photos of several of these I've grown from seed, showing some variation. Narcissus 'Fragrant Rose' and I think I have some 'High Society' bulbs also. Colchicum Byzantinum. I have some nice daylily seedlings I want to divide as I move them. I will be happy to provide a link for you to see them. Lilium Formosanum - reseed here and I know where there is at least one good sized plant I would like to move out of my way.

If you go after Jan 26, you can get almost all the plants 50% off. Most Chinese people buy flowering plants (azalea, narcissus, citrus) and cut flowers (forced pussy willow, plum, forsythia) before the actual day so they have them blooming on the day of in their house, but I've learnt that prices drop dramatically, sometimes more than 50%, after the day of. My grandparents have always kept with the tradition of buying them before. :D Make sure you barter! The citrus usually run $20+ in 2 gallon or bigger pots.
