Rooting Eucalyptus species

Does anyone have words of advice relating to inducing a species of Eucalytus to produce roots? I have an unknown sp. of this genus and would like to propagate in our tropical coservatory. The winter temps. here in Virginia are too cold(-5 degrees C)for growing outside.I have tried Indoleacetic, indolebutanoic, and Naphtheneacetic acids both as a talc suspension and as a liquid soln. and using varying mixture ratios of peat-moss and sand, Perlite, etc.No Luck!

Any info will be much appreciated.
