michi81 - If you haven't got any of the yellow walking iris yet, let me know and I can mail you some starts. They won't be rooted but they root very easily in a pot of dirt or even directly in the ground with a little watering.

I have two spare yearling pups of the blue-and-white, and I'm right here in the DC area -- wanna trade? I'm especially interested in your Camassia leichtlinii ÂCaerulea -- if the neomarica is not enough, I can throw in iris tectorum, either blue or white. Lynn

I've never heard of a giant walking iris - sounds scary! Can't find it in my books, either, but I'd be interested in it, too! I guess I'll have to do an online search to find out what it is.

There are several Iris that color, Not true reds. The yellow could have been Harvest of Memories, But there are many Yellows As well. Do some homework and see if you can find something close or just the same. I have Harvest of memories and a few of the Redish ones. Just google Red or Yellow Iris and it should find you some of them. Get back with me when you think you have found what you think are the ones you saw. Then we can talk. I have over 80 colors.
