The price is too much, especially when The National Clonal Germplasm Repository at Corvallis, Oregon, sends out plants for free. I put in an order on line there last year for two Rose de Cote d'Or raspberry plants, after David Karp raved about their taste in his article. Two tiny, rooted cuttings arrived a few weeks ago, after around a year's wait, and are leafing out nicely in their one gallon pot. There might not be enough chill here to fruit them, but it's fun trying. Several French websites report that it's one of the most aromatic raspberries in existence. Hey! How did I get into this???? But you might have brought up a good idea for future posts! Seeing as you have now started this idea with garden frogs, who has something else in action in the garden with more than 4 legs that they can post? I am a little disappointed and bewildered actually, I have not seen any of them GRT bugs crawling around like I used to. I wonder where they are actually, I wonder WHY they are not here so maybe I can be sure to do whatever the reason is more often! Reason I even bring it up is I was going to follow up with an offensive pic of GRT bugs! I think your post was good and I KNOW you are already 'twisted', join the club.

Carol and Vannie, you guys are too funny. I was trying to keep my past a secret. LOL JoAnn, I am going to my Dad's for his 90th birthday. My son is coming in from the Philippines and my daughter from Atlanta. After the party is over the next day I am taking both of my kids to the airport and then picking up Carol for our fun trip. April I am so glad you saw this thread. Carol and I are both looking forward to seeing you and Marion again. This makes 4 years in a row. I sure enjoy our visits and wish they could be longer but will take what I can get. Right now it looks like Dances won't be able to come. She is a couple days short on her vacation time. I talked to her last night and she was so sad about the whole thing. I told her it would be foolish to spend $250 to arrive on Sat. morning and fly back on Sunday night and be a zombie at work on Monday morning. Hopefully next year she will be able to come.
