Yes what is it Richard, I flick all those ones off my plants.
My Lemon scented myrtle is also flowering at present, first time too
I got it April 04 and I had to move it as it would not grow in that first spot
But it seems to like its new home better, I love the white flowers.
And the smell of the crushed leaves is heavenly dont you think. Cheer...MM.

PS I went to the Botanic Gardens today and seen lots of interesting bamboos..

Looks like one of the ones I seen in an old Australian Botany book,fairly friendly see if I can find it,nice pic Richard,greencroc.

The beetle is most probably a chafer,they love foliage,are mainly black on the back with other markings,some black and orange band, some black head orange thorax,the King beetle also is reddish gold,so flick ,em off alright,greencroc.

Hi Richard, your lovely little beetle is known as a 'fiddle beetle'.Eupoecila australasiae from the family Scarabaeidea, subfamily Cetoniinae - flower beetles. I've put in a link with a couple of pics and a bit of info, just scroll about 3/4 of the way down.

Wrong again Lakota Sitting Bull an Oglala Souix but very close to and were involved with the above,now it,s back to the plants,greencroc.

Sorry again greencroc, lol, but Sitting Bull was leader of the Hunkpapa which are a subtribe of the Lakota. Red Cloud and Crazy Horse were Oglala, also a subtribe of the Lakota who were from the western part of the Sioux nation. There is a guy in Victoria (I think) who is an American Indian who grows medicinal plants used in Indian medicine. I think I saw him on GA.
