Comments (33)Agreed, it does look good on top the leaves have gotten very big the inner new tiny growth mostly all yellowed and fell off before they could mature into bigger leaves so now it looks kinda like a palm/tropical tree I was thinking of re-potting in some cactus palm and citrus miracle grow potting soil but afraid the newly formed roots might get ripped/damaged This post was edited by Kings_Rose on Sun, Oct 26, 14 at 19:17...See Moremeyer lemon problem
Comments (3)Thank you for your reply Patty. I think the sun is fine as this is a south facing window, and the large pot behind it is the mother plant which has been doing great there for years. This picture was taken at dusk, so it looks like a lot less light than they normally receive. I have both potted in standard potting soil. But I think you may be onto something with the fertilizer. I've learned over the years to add a bit extra nitrogen to the mother plant if her leaves started to turn yellow. However, I may have given too much for such a young plant. I have repotted it, and will go easy on the fertilizer and see if that brings the young plant back. Thank you for your help....See MoreLemon problems :(
Comments (26)R..Can you show me a now recent pic of the tree and the mix? Take some mix into 'your hand 'R', and take a close up of it if you could..How exactly did you make the mix, in other words how did you mix it up? Watering is all dependent on how long it takes to dry out...It all depends of the temp, and sunlight even without leaves. You have an advantage over me 'R', with longer sunny warm days and temps above 55 at night. That's great. If provided the perfect conditions in the right mix, it will bounce back faster than you think..In a very porous mix with winter moving in much later than I, I would fertilize into November!...See MoreUser
