I thought I had better post a pic of the entire tree for others to see.

Theobroma cacao: The chocolate Tree.

It lives inside here with others, and is kept in a constant temperature between 24-28 degrees.

Even Brisbane is too cold and hot for it at times:

And on the outside the Tropical Dome look like this a bit of a eyesore.

But you forgive it that look when you walk in the door and see all the beautiful plants.

I looked in amazement at the sign below this huge clump of Bamboo it reads, OUCH

We're stunning we know its true

So please feel free to admire us

But sharp objects and items make us blue

So please do not carve us.................Thank you The Bamboo.

As you can see they have been carved everywhere such a shame

And Jan that Paw Paw looking fruit would have been the cocoa bean or is that spelt cacao.
