What happens normally Tamara is that you pay someone to do this kind of work for you, they earn some money and you yourself profit from that. Are you suggesting a different arrangement?

Oh boy...gardening has been a literal lifeline for me over the past several years which have been extremely stressful. For much of these years, the primary and even only joy I have known has been in the garden. Gardening has been therapy, art, meditation, retreat, fun, and good exercise. Because of the gardens and natural landscaping, a rectangular suburban lot with Colonial is transformed into a Garden of Eden. There is so much life and energy in the gardens and the natural areas with the accompanying wildlife. The stately trees, the exquisitely beautiful flowers, the birds and insects flitting about, the sunshine and the rain, the earth itself...add these up and you have heaven. I am often in a state of flow when I'm in the garden - moving in a sort of peaceful, fluid motion with mind and body usually relaxed. Hours can go by without any particular conciousness of time. It can get pretty darn close to a blissful feeling. Once or twice I have gone into the garden and cried from the bottom of my heart to release my sorrows. Sometimes I am restless or angry and then I can go chop down or weed wrench Bittersweet or Buckthorn or hack away at some roots in a new garden bed or something. But mostly, gardening is associated with good feelings. I actually do have my cell phone with me in the garden, because of activities pertaining to work and son. But oddly, even answering a call now and then isn't much of a bother because I'm still out in the garden!! :) This is one of my favorite pics - Spicebush Swallowtail on Phlox paniculata 'Nora Leigh'.
