My stragglers have pumped out a few fruit but I fear there will not be many more.

A couple of Grubs Green , an Earls Faux, a Prudens Purple, some unknown plum thingos and some Nepal X Tommy Toe F1's

Onto the winter vegie program eh

Yes it must be a sad time for you though I bet you have had a bountiful harvest..
Now its our turn to look forward to all those wonderful things coming from the garden.

Keep us posted MM. We are still keen on moving up your way or maybe a bit south of Brissy.
The harvest of tommys this was crazy. So many tommys, and so big. We have enough sauce and relish to last two years easy. Makes up for the lousy years eh.

@Lilbit Oh wow, I didn't even realize how some of them have grown quite a lot until I just compared the photos, haha! I wondered too, that's why I was terrified that the others might get affected so I pulled all the leaves right off when I saw the mushiness.. People said that the albinos are harder to survive on their own, I wonder if they're more prone to overwatering or other negative factors as well. @Rina As much as I can see right now, there seem to be one that looks pure yellow with a hint of light green, so it could be an albino pup, but everyone else is normal (did a head count, there are 7 pups in total)

Mike, VCR's very fragrant and smells just like a rose. Even with just this single bloom I can still detect faint whiff of it from a distance. I know a vendor in Oahu who sells VCR cutting for $16. If you want it, let me know and I'll be happy to pick one up for you when I'm there. Wow!! that Scentational is still there? I kinda wanted to get it last month but it wasn't on sale. $40 seems reasonable enough! :) Did you see that giant plumeria plant I found in the Asian market around here? Could it be a promising sign plumerias will soon be available in our state? LOL Kenny

They all look delicately lovely, Seil, I call it the prettiest-princess stage for your roses :) I love the delicate stripeys, Koco Loco, and Tuscan Sun especially!!! and you'll still have so many prettiest-princesses to keep on showing until the close of your season. However, for me, I'm expecting my Lincolns to keep on blooming into December like last year. No princess delicacy, but bulging, muscle-lumpy King Leonidas warrior roses for awhile....We're luckier cuz in Kansas we get cold nights but the temps shoot up high enough to open the blooms during the day. Since you're in Michigan, I'm thinking you're definitely some notches colder than us. Plus we get more sun rays than you do since you're further up North. lol, hurrray on your storehouse of more roses-to-come. No winter will ever be drab with them at our gallery. Rosie smiles, Serena

Ooohhhh! your Abbaye is a stunner! My roses are pretty much a done deal. Darcy is the last to produce and even she is looking tired Waiting on the ”Bomb Cyclone ” and hoping that we dont lose power. I have plenty of solar lights if we do but I hate to lose my heat. So, everyone on the west coast, batten down the hatches and hang on to your hats

HI OZ,JUST BECAUSE THE FOOTY HAS STARTED AND DAYLIGHT SAVING HAS GONE. SUMMER CAN'T FINISH YET, MY TOMMY BUSHES ARE LOADED WITH GREEN FRUIT (LARGE)AND THOSE SEEDS YOU SENT ME ARE FULL OF FRUIT THAT I HAVEN'T TASTED YET.SO ALL YOU PEOPLE ON THE BIG ISLAND HAD BETTER START PRAYING FOR THE SUN TO CONTINUE.

Mine are finished but I picked the green ones and have put them in a mini hothouse tha I got in Chickenfeed for about $20 (near the movies in Lonnie) They are ripening up nicely.

GOOD IDEA CG,I WILL DO THAT WHEN I GO TO TOWN THIS WEEK. HAD A BIT OF BAD LUCK ON THE WEEKEND,I WAS DRYING TOMMIE SEEDS IN THE SHED DOWN THE BACK.BLASTED FIELD MICE GOT IN AND ATE MY SEEDS THAT WERE NEARLY DRY.WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN THIS TIME, I WILL TAKE EXTRA CARE.

Little buggers - my cat brought me a present the other night - dumped a live one on my lap - I haven't moved so fast in 60 years! One cold night and they want to invade. Last year we had blood and bone stored in a heavy plastic milking pail type bucket and they got in from underneath and feasted all winter. This year they have to chew through a galvanised dustbin! I dry my seed indoors - eat on my lap and take over the dining room table for seeds.
