Wisteria tree

Hi,

My mum has a wisteria tree (yes a tree!!) it took ages to grow it even snapped at one stage and mum bandaged it back together lol much to us kids laughing. Now it currently stands at about 10-12 meters in height on its own in the middle of a large front lawn. It provides the most lovely shade in summer and looks stunning in full bloom.
My question....my mum now has a couple of suckers each about 1 metre in height coming up in her garden approx 10-15 Metres away which previously she has cut away. I was wondering if was possible to remove and grow these on as I would love one at my place (same town) and I haven't been able to find one to purchase. Also if it is possible to remove and replant how should I do this - note i am a complete novice at gardening and propagating so should include instructions for dummies lol
Thanks in advance
