I do not think edged pinks are getting boring. I only added afew myself this past fall but of course have yet to see bloom. Nicoles website has come up again on the AHS robin. It started with someone using her site (and a link to it) as a comment on how they do not like websites done in frames. Of course this got alot of discussion going on frames but it also got a lot of discussion going about her daylilies and how spectacular they are. Lots of traffic and people noticing her that did not know about her before.

I may have a Belinda's Dream to trade (1 gallon size, potted that I bought last year and didn't plant) if you are still looking for one. I'd have to dig through the cold frame to see if it's still in there. Would trade for peony or DL, depending on what you have. Cheers, Michelle

Angie, what a handsome, patriotic group of pals! The boys sure look like they are getting big. Thanks for showing us! Marea, i'm jealous! Mint festival & frog jumping! You MUST post pics. What fun! Just wanted to pop in for a quick update.... Baby Talon is doing so good. He had his 7 week birthday yesterday! The nights have been wonderful for about the last 2 weeks.....he's been sleeping for 5,6,& 7 hour stretches! Our days are crazy though. No schedule whatsoever and you never know what kind of mood he will be in. I'm getting lots more smiles & "happy time" though. : ) And yesterday he grabbed his soft little teddy for the first time and stuck it in his mouth!! lol The house is coming along....only one more thing to do before we can have the framing inspection done. We are waiting for our interior steps to be delivered...supposed to be at the end of the week. Once DH has them installed we'll be ready to go. Here is Talon's new tub.... I can't wait 'till he's swimming in there! ; ) DH's plan is to start bricking the house. We have concrete scheduled to come Saturday to do the two back porches. They need done before brickwork can start. We'll have HVAC and hopefully the electrician & plumber start work inside. I say hopefully 'cause DH keeps saying he's going to do the elec. & plumbing himself. I must put my foot down. Sure hope I can talk him into hiring someone or else we may never move in! Hugs, ~Dawn (mamabirrd)

Vinca Minor Polka dot (I think that's what its called?) Anyway Home Depot usually sells a tray of 18 or 24? dirt cheap and they will fill in fast when it warms up. The flowers are white with red pot. My favorite annual plant and cheap filler plants when you can't avoid expensive perennial plants to fill out rest of bed at the moment. I would have suggested Ducher or Marie pavie roses if you wanted something white. Marie Pavie is thornless rose and can do fine with 4 hours of sun if you didn't know that. I'm a fan of abelia! Smells very nice in the spring when you have enough of them. I am not so fond of regular "glossy" abelia. I think they are ugly. I have Rose Creek and Kaleidoscope and I think they are much better looking ones. Any named cultivars would do fine but not glossy abelia. Nandina.. I have a few... If you want a really unique one - get the yellow berries one from woodlanders website! I'm really more of rose and abelia person so I can't help you with the rest of plants you asked about. I just focus on earthkind roses and old garden roses because they are easy to grow. I tend to plant abelia where the area do not get enough sun for roses (until I found out about Marie Pavie (white)/Marie Daly (pink) roses that can tolerate less sun...
