I check around every year or so to see if any new research has been done-- haven't checked lately. The traditional origin of noisettes has been confirmed by DNA analysis in a study of which Malcolm Manners is a principal author. This is an ambitious study that places many OGR cultivars in a tree diagram based on genetic similarity. You will have to use the pdf magnifying tool to study the diagram. If you do study it, you might be able to come back here with a list of "true" centifolias and an idea of how they are related to the other OGR groups.
