I am mystified! This rose last year in the same spot grew a lot and did not give me one bloom I couldn't understand it as it was in great shape otherwise. It had a prominent corner in my cottage garden with lots of Sun so if she didn't get her act into gear this Spring/Summer she was going to get the chop!!!!!
Well since September she is covered in blooms - you can hardly see the bush - so did she get the vibe that she was going to rose heaven? I have had bushes that have improved their size of blooms and the amount of blooms as they have got older but not from no blooms in 2003-2005 and then bang this month covered in blooms I am lost??? Any ideas of why this has happened? I even bought another Mme Isaac Periere and planted it near as I thought the first bush might be a dud.
I think I should put the axe beside a couple of other bushes just to test the theory : )
Cheers,
Brissy
